FIND YOUR WAY: RULES of the GAME
________________________________________________________________________
Find your Way will involve the entire team in a
unique challenge.
Communication, interactive and cultural skills
will be put on the field: only the most
cooperative team will gain extra prize to add to
the score.
COOPERATION IS FUNDAMENTAL!
The game space is divided in 2 pathways, the
orange one is dedicated to Team A and the violet
one to Team B.
This game requires collaboration between remote
peers. When the Guide gives the start, some
obstacles will appear along the pathway.
Remember! Just one class per team can see the pins through the pathway, while the other one will
be blind! The blind avatars (the SEEKERS) will have to move through the path, from the beginning
to the end, but… they won’t be able to see the obstacles.
No panic! The students of the other class will be able to see the path and they’ll describe the way
to be followed via the WHISPER CHAT. These players will be the NAVIGATORS and will guide
their “blind” team mates to complete the track without biting the invisible obstacles.
Does this sound too easy? If the SEEKER bit a pin,
he would be teleported backward along the Path,
and the NAVIGATOR will have to start again.
At the end of the track the SEEKER will find just
one pin; he will have to crash against it to be
teleported to the starting point, ready to start again!
You will have three chances to commit a mistake, before the teleport will be activated.
When the Guide declares the change of roles, the game will be inverted and the class who played
as NAVIGATOR, will have to play the SEEKER (and vice versa).
… BUT WHAT ABOUT THE 2D WORLD USERS?
While the SEEKER is trying to go through the Path, the 2D chat members will have to answer, as
accurately as possible, to some questions.
For any correct answer given on time, the SEEKER of your Team will obtain the chance, for 20
seconds, to view the Path! He’ll just have to move fast, and you’ll have obtained an important
advantage for your Team.
Enjoy the challenge!
