| Le rêve américain (American Dream en anglais) est l'idée selon laquelle n'importe qui, par son travail, son courage et sa détermination, peut devenir prospère. * do you believe in that?? personaly,i don'T MAYBE in the last century it was possible but now i don't think because the U.S.A have many crisis (economic, social) i believe in the french dream : "make your destiny" so tell me your opinion !!!!! | |

| I think that the French dream (if it exist, what is it?) is ordinary like the American Dream but that the American dream could be more different and better since America is an other world that we don't know or that we know, just because Mrs Monrocher told us something about it, but not also well as our dream to we !!!!! | |

| We all try to make our dreams come true , I am sure you have more dreams than I have , because you are younger , but remember , whatever happens , my motto is right there : NEVER GIVE UP ! Each cloud has a silver lining , never say die Hope springs eternal , etc .... | |

| I like your avatar , but I don't like your dream ... You can't dream of destruction , because you can't build on destruction , if you want , go and create a world of your own somewhere else , but don't dream of destroying something ... For example , you love Japan , don't you , well have you heard of Hiroshima ??? For some people , it is still a nightmare , because they still suffer .. What about thinking of building your Japanese garden, ? - For the Chinese and the Japanese , a garden is like a world of its own , that's an idea I like .... Build your garden somewhere , and that will be your own world .... I'll send you pictures of Japanese gardens , I collect them , some of them take years and years to create .... And they represent the beauty around us ... I want to believe .... | |

| American Dream The American Dream can be defined as a belief and the freedom that allows all citizens and residents to achieve their goals in life through hard work in the United States of America. Today, in America it generally refers to the idea that one's prosperity depends upon one's own abilities and hard work, not on a rigid class structure, though the meaning of the phrase has changed over America's history. For some, it is the opportunity to achieve more prosperity than they could in their countries of origin; for others, it is the opportunity for their children to grow up with an education and career opportunities; for others, it is the opportunity to be an individual without the constraints imposed by class, caste, race, or ethnicity | |

| The definition of the American Dream is now under constant discussion and debate.[1] Also "The package of beliefs, assumptions, and action patterns that social scientists have labeled the American Dream has always been a fragile agglomeration of (1) individual freedom of choice in life styles, (2) equal access to economic abundance, and (3) the pursuit of shared objectives mutually advantageous to the individual and society." [2]
While the term "American Dream" today is often associated with immigrants, native-born Americans can also be described as "pursuing the American Dream," "living the American Dream" or "living the Dream."
