No problem ....
Well I didn't know what work I could do tonight ....
So, here is a Summary about what we said last Tuesday :
Merrick is called a "freak" and is rejected by society. His appearence is deformed . Each people who saw John, saw in him the problems they had. Because he's different physically, Merric is, in the eyes of the world, powerless and John hadn't other pick than to accept this horrible life he had.
& a Summary about what we said today :
The sixth text is about John Merrick's beauty . He is dumpy in the eyes of others BUT me, I say the real beauty somebody can have is the inner beauty . Well John had a heart and wasn't a monster . He had a manner to see the things that he showed through his drawings. When he was at hospital, he spent his time drawing the St philip's cathedral's top. When Merrick arrived at Liverpool station, lots of people attaked him because of the illness he had. One of the most touching scenes is the scene when Merric is attacked. Remember what he said : ''I am not an animal ... I am not an elephant ... I am a man ..."
